Andrea’s journey began in the Italian Air Force Academy, where he trained as an Air Defense Pilot on the legendary F-104 fighter jet. From there, he played a pivotal role in Italy’s transition to the F-16, training pilots in the United States before leading operational transitions back home.

After two decades in the cockpit, Andrea shifted to commercial aviation and later became a Simulator Flight Instructor at the International Fighter Training School (IFTS), helping shape the next generation of fighter pilots.

Now, as Operations Lead at THE EDGE COMPANY, Andrea is leveraging his expertise in aviation to drive innovation in AI-based safety and operational technologies. In our conversation, we explore:
